BROKEN HARMONY existiert seit dem Jahreswechsel 2000 / 2001, gehört damit zu den dienstältesten Crews in Thüringen und hat sich erst im Laufe der Zeit zu seiner momentanen Konstellation formiert. Die Gründung vollzog sich auf Initiative der DJ-Teams Standent Elise und Minuspol. Broken Harmony vereint inzwischen nicht nur DJs sondern auch Producer, VJs & Grafiker und Szenografen. Das ermöglicht nicht nur die Durchführung eingener Events aus einer Hand bei denen alle Mitglieder ihre Skills beisteuern, sondern auch eine perfekte Fusion aller ihrer Elemente. Die Vielfältigkeit elektronischer Medien ist der Grundbaustein für die Existenz von Broken Harmony und neben der Organisation verschiedener Events, engagieren wir uns auch für die Förderung von talentiertem Nachwuchs. In den vergangenen Jahren gestalteten wir diverse Events und Event-Reihen wie z. Bsp. »FRISCHLUFT«, »KULTURCAFE«, »BREATHLESS« oder das gemeinsam mit der Jenaer Bionic-Crew durchgeführete, legendäre DJ-Battle-Event »BIONIC VERSUS BHC«. Ausserdem gestaltete Broken Harmony 2006 zum dritten Mal in Folge das Breaks'n'Drums-Zelt auf dem »SonneMondSterne-Festival« und das gemeinsam mit dem Klock11 organisierte Event »OpenBassCourt«. Weiterhin spielten die einzelnen Künstler in den vergangenen Jahren zahlreiche Gigs quer durch die ganze Republik, wie zum Beispiel in Berlin, Mannheim, Stuttgart, Leipzig, Chemnitz, Saarbrücken, Dresden, Frakfurt, Halle, Magdeburg, Jena, Gera, Erfurt ...

Broken Harmony is a group with different affected young artist, who release a high measure of creativity as community. At the end of 2000 the group was founded by the initiative of the DJ teams Standent Elise and Minuspol. The idea ofworking together was based on the thought to advance the presentation of Drum & Bass in Thuringia. After various appearances an active group appeared, whereby everyone contributes a part in his way to the whole one. From this constellation many singular events developed, which gather in a high resonance, because by the implementation of our claim of quality, new accents could be set. Here the events »Futurelogic«, »Breathless« and »Kulturcafe« should be emphasized, with those numerous considerable guests rocked the floors with us. At every single event the entertainment of each group-member arises a complex stage show, with which the VJ is produced not less than the DJ or Liveact. In interaction with a highly detailed, multimedia decoration an environment of „excessive harmony“ results for the guest.
